Financial Controller

Job Location: Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre and Perdana Kota Bharu

We are looking for two candidates who are dynamic, energetic and result-oriented with attention to detail to drive respective team at Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre and Perdana Kota Bharu.

Mission

  • To oversee the financial reporting, investments, risk management and cash flow analysis, among other financial aspects of the hotel.
  • Developing, implementing, analysing, maintaining and presenting strategic business and financial plans.
  • Provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information and plans to produce and meet strategic goals.
  • Ensure that the financial function has efficient systems and procedures which satisfy the requirements of the hotels, tax department and internal/external auditors of the company including SIRIM audit and Internal Quality Audit (“IQA”).
  • Constantly evaluate the performance of the hotel and take a lead role in driving change and improvement.
  • Ensure that regular reviews of hotel’s progress are carried out to ensure that all objectives set are completed successfully.
  • Work closely with Corporate Office to assure that financial controls of all hotels within AHR are in place and to uphold and improve standard.
  • Respond to auditors to ensure continuous improvement is achieved.

Requirements

  • Minimum degree in Finance or Accounting, and a professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA will be considered an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 8 years hotel experience with a proven track record in a Finance Manager/Financial Controller role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, with a strong understanding of business process and accounting principles.
