Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as Head of Revenue & Distribution at Attana Hotels & Resorts in WP. Kuala Lumpur. As the Head of Revenue & Distribution, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue and distribution strategies to optimize hotel performance and drive revenue growth. You will oversee pricing, inventory, and distribution channels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue opportunities. Your role will focus on driving revenue, enhancing market positioning, and ensuring effective distribution for the hotels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximizing all revenue opportunities for Attana Hotels & Golf. Actively participate in sales calls, group pace meetings, yield meetings, and daily negotiations with the sales team and customers. Pricing decisions for Attana Hotels & Golf.
  • Work closely with the Hotels’ Rate Reviews and maximize yield for groups.
  • Participate, develop, execute, and synergize the yearly sales, distribution & revenue plan, industry events, or tradeshows for the area/territory with hotel teams. To drive revenues.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to drive our web strategies for the respective hotels and destinations.
  • Review action plans, and conduct onboarding training for new DOSMs / DOS / GM / Hotel Managers / EAMs. Assist with any presentations to owners on the sales programs.
  • Lead and execute the pre-opening checklist for any properties that are coming on board. Lead the Sales, Distribution & Revenue, efforts for all Hotel Openings and conversions.
  • Led the hotel field sales efforts for the Attana Hotel & Golf brands for operating and preopening properties.
  • Provide strategic guidance to Hotels & Golf Clubs on all facets of sales, yield, positioning, and reservations.
  • Communicate closely with the sales and marketing leadership to ensure a coordinated market approach to maximize synergies and drive engagement in Attana programs.
  • Lead the sales ensuring account management is proactive, strategic, and high profile.
  • Drive full compliance of all Attana’s Sales, Distribution, and Revenue. Work with Brand & Digital Marketing Manager on Brand, Marketing programs & Partnerships.
  • Support, coach, counsel and assist development of the Do’s & Don’ts and other key sales and marketing roles
  • Assist Hotels in fully utilizing Attana’s PMS, Golf systems, distribution channels, CRM, and website programs.
  • Working with the Brand teams to grow brand awareness for all relevant Attana brands
  • Manage relationships with key industry partners
  • Conduct detailed Sales & Audit reviews to ensure all appropriate systems and procedures are in place with DOS&D’s & GM.
  • Review & Guide the Hotels & Golf through the sales & marketing plan, rate structure, and budget process.
  • Good standard of sales & account management processes.
  • Ensuring proper data collection and tracking accuracy through the network, despite of lack of connectivity solutions within the region and the use of non-referenced PMS in some properties.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Mass Communication, Business Analyst, International Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in revenue management within the hotel industry.
  • Strong business acumen with results orientation to drive key business performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, including strong facilitation.
