SELANGOR, 3 April 2025 – In the wake of the devastating gas pipeline explosion that occurred on 1 April in Putra Heights, which resulted in injuries to over 100 individuals and displaced numerous families, Attana Hotels & Resorts (“Attana”) has initiated a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort to assist those affected by the tragedy.
The explosion led to significant damage in the residential areas, prompting the evacuation of many residents to temporary shelters, including the Dewan Serbaguna MBSJ Camelia.
In response to the immediate needs of these displaced families and the dedicated frontliners managing the crisis, AHR distributed 100 lunch packs at the Dewan Serbaguna MBSJ Camelia, aiming to provide some relief and support during this challenging time.
This initiative underscores AHR's commitment to community support and solidarity in times of need. We hope that this modest contribution offers some comfort and moral support to both the affected families and the hardworking personnel involved in the relief efforts.
Our thoughts remain with all those impacted by this unfortunate event, and we stand ready to assist further as the community begins the process of recovery and rebuilding.
