KUALA LUMPUR, 15 March 2025 – Attana Hotels & Resorts (Attana), together with its five esteemed properties—Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre (Perdana KLCC), Espira Kinrara, Villea Morib, Villea Port Dickson, and Villea Rompin Resort & Golf—successfully carried out two impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives today, reinforcing its commitment to community welfare during the holy month of Ramadan.
The initiatives included a Food Distribution Program for the Homeless in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur, and a heartwarming Iftar event at Perdana KLCC for children from Rumah Perlindungan Qaseh, Taman Melawati and Akademi Sains dan Tahfiz Al-Quran Sains Wangsa Melawati. These meaningful efforts were further supported by Keluarga Nilam (Independent Group) through financial contributions, while PERTIWI and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) provided essential guidance and logistical assistance to ensure the seamless execution of both events.
The day began with the distribution of 250 food packs and 250 dry ration kits to the homeless and underprivileged individuals at Pusat Pembelajaran Komuniti Chow Kit. This initiative aimed to bring comfort and relief to those in need, reaffirming Attana’s commitment to social responsibility. The invaluable support from PERTIWI and DBKL was instrumental in ensuring the success of the program.
Later in the evening, Attana and Keluarga Nilam hosted a special Iftar gathering at Perdana KLCC, welcoming children from Rumah Perlindungan Qaseh, Taman Melawati and Akademi Sains dan Tahfiz Al-Quran Sains Wangsa Melawati. The event provided a warm and festive atmosphere, allowing the children to experience the joy and unity of Ramadan. In addition to the iftar meal, Attana and Keluarga Nilam presented duit raya as a token of appreciation, bringing extra cheer to the children in anticipation of Syawal.
Attana remains steadfast in its mission to support and uplift communities, particularly those in need. Through continuous CSR efforts and meaningful collaborations, the company strives to make a lasting, positive impact on society.
"At Attana, we believe in the power of giving back. Our commitment to community-driven initiatives reflects our dedication to making a meaningful difference.
