From the 4th to the 8th of June 2024, Attana Hotels & Resorts (AHR) hosted our annual Attana Goodwill Games (AGG) at Villea Morib, marking the event’s successful second year!
This remarkable occasion brought together team members from Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre (PKLCC), Perdana Kota Bharu (PKB), Espira Kinrara (EK), Villea Morib (VM), Villea Port Dickson (VPD), Villea Rompin Resort & Golf (VRRG), and Kota Seriemas Golf & Country Club (KSGCC) for days filled with competitive spirit and fun.
The AGG is a cornerstone of our commitment to promoting health, wellness, and camaraderie among our staff.
The event kicked off with an energetic opening ceremony where Tuan Haji Ron Hasni Yusoff, our Chief Operating Officer (COO), welcomed everyone and highlighted the importance of physical fitness and teamwork.
All participating teams then paraded grandly in their respective groups—White, Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green—fostering a sense of unity and excitement throughout the AGG.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
During the AGG, participating teams engaged in thrilling competitions, from intense beach volleyball and soccer matches to captivating archery contests.
They competed fiercely in ping pong, darts, netball, and tug of war, showcasing their skills, strategic thinking, and team spirit. Each match was a testament to their dedication as they strove for victory.
Beyond the sports tournaments, we hosted an exciting karaoke contest at night that kept the energy high and set the stage for unforgettable moments of laughter and excitement.
On the final evening, we celebrated with a Retro 60’s-themed dinner where all participants dressed in vintage attire, and the venue was filled with classic tunes.
The highlight of the evening was the awards ceremony, celebrating outstanding performances and sportsmanship. Special awards were given, including The Best AHR Employee of The Year 2023.
Cheering teammates and colleagues as they were recognised for their contributions made the night even more exciting and prestigious.
In his closing remarks, Tuan Haji Ron Hasni Yusoff, COO, expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants and organisers.
He attributed the day’s success to the collective effort and enthusiasm of everyone involved and emphasised the event’s role in strengthening bonds and fostering a supportive and active workplace culture.
