ATTANA HOTELS & RESORTS GROUP WINS SIX AWARDS AT THE 2024 TOURISM INDUSTRY AWARDS

Kuala Lumpur, 26 July 2024: Attana Hotels & Resorts Sdn Bhd (AHR) has received six prestigious awards at the 2024 Tourism Industry Awards held on 26 July 2024, at the Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

This accolade recognises AHR, the hospitality subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), for its outstanding amenities and exceptional service standards.

“We are truly delighted and honoured to receive affirmation from industry experts and guests who have experienced our amazing properties,” said Ron Hasni Yusoff, Chief Operating Officer of AHR.
He added that the awards acknowledge AHR not only as a leading contemporary hotel group, resort operator, and golf club provider but also demonstrate its commitment to enhancing guest experiences.

“It is a testament to our ability to meet the growing demand for upscale accommodation, offering the finest hospitality, service, and dining while being ecologically responsible,” he added.

The awards received are:

  • Attana Hotels & Resorts (AHR) – Best Hotel & Property Management
  • Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre (PKLCC) – Best Family City Hotel
  • Perdana Kota Bharu (PKB) – Best East Coast City Hotel
  • Espira Kinrara (EK) – Best 3-Star Business Hotel
  • Villea Port Dickson (VPD) – Best Nature-Friendly Resort
  • Kota Seriemas Golf Club (KSGC) – Best Golf Venue
  • Ron Hasni added that these awards recognise contemporary hotels, resorts, and golf clubs committed to the highest standards of quality service.

    “They celebrate extraordinary hotels that provide outstanding guest experiences, encouraging them to maintain excellence in a highly competitive industry.”

    Besides that, Ron Hasni said the awards encouraged the hospitality group, which manages a portfolio of hotels & resorts, and golf clubs worth more than RM800 million, to further improve its level of services to customers, especially in its journey to embrace sustainability – under the group’s social responsibility programme, Sayang Earth.

    With Sayang Earth, Attana aims to support, engage and help improve the environment, and give back to the communities based on four distinctive pillars – Healthy Lifestyle; Reuse, Recycle & Reduce (3Rs); Save The Planet; and Community Development.

    The awards were organised by the Malaysia International Tourism Development Association (MiTDA), Santai Travel Magazine, and the Malaysia Fashion, Modelling and Pageantry Association (MFMPA).
