Attana Hotels & Resorts Strengthens Ramadan Outreach with Continued CSR Collaboration

27 March 2026

In the true spirit of Ramadan, a month defined by compassion and generosity, Attana Hotels & Resorts (Attana), together with its five properties – Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre (Perdana KLCC), Espira Kinrara, Villea Morib, Villea Port Dickson, and Villea Rompin Resort & Golf – once again came together to bring comfort, dignity, and joy to those in need through two meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Marking the second consecutive year of collaboration with Keluarga Nilam (Independent Group) and Pertubuhan Tindakan Wanita Islam (PERTIWI), this year’s outreach was more than just a programme; it was a shared commitment to ensuring that no one feels forgotten during the holy month. The initiatives included a Food Distribution Programme for the homeless community at Pusat Khidmat Gelandangan Medan Tuanku, as well as a meaningful Iftar gathering at Perdana KLCC for children from Rumah Anak Yatim dan Asnaf As-Solihin and Asrama Anak-Anak Yatim Darul Taqwa.

The Food Distribution Programme at Medan Tuanku took place on 6 March 2026, where 250 food packs and 250 dry ration kits were distributed to homeless and underprivileged individuals. Beyond providing essential supplies, the initiative also delivered hope. Volunteers, partners, and hotel associates worked hand in hand, sharing warm smiles and words of encouragement that reflected the compassion inspired by Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the Iftar gathering at Perdana KLCC was held today, 14 March 2026, welcoming children from Rumah Anak Yatim dan Asnaf As-Solihin and Asrama Anak-Anak Yatim Darul Taqwa. Laughter filled the ballroom as the children enjoyed a nourishing meal in a warm and welcoming environment designed to make them feel valued and celebrated. The evening became even more special when duit raya was presented to each child – small tokens that carried not only monetary gifts but also heartfelt wishes for brighter days ahead as Syawal approaches.
In addition, a total of RM8,770 will be contributed to Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Bimbingan At-Taqwa, Puchong to help ease their financial burden, while also bringing a little joy and hope to the children as they prepare to welcome Syawal.
These initiatives reflect Attana’s belief that hospitality extends beyond hotel walls. It is about touching lives, uplifting spirits, and building meaningful connections within the community. Guided by its Social Responsibility programme, SayangEarth, Attana remains committed to caring for the environment and supporting communities through initiatives centred on four key pillars: Healthy Lifestyle; Re-use, Recycle and Reduce (3Rs); Save The Planet; and Community Development. Through this platform, the company continues to drive meaningful engagement and sustainable impact.
“At Attana, Ramadan reminds us that true success is measured by the lives we touch. Continuing this collaboration for the second year strengthens our resolve to stand alongside communities who need support the most. We hope our efforts inspire greater collective compassion and encourage more organisations to give back,” said Mohd Iqmal Muslim, Chief Operating Officer of Attana Hotels & Resorts.
Through sustained CSR efforts and genuine partnerships, Attana Hotels & Resorts continues to champion empathy, unity, and the enduring spirit of giving – values that lie at the very heart of Ramadan.
